At Pelican’s Cut, we understand the nuances of sourcing ocean-farmed fish versus land-based or wild-caught seafood. We source Atlantic farmed salmon in order to provide people with a local alternative to salmon that is farmed in Norway, Scotland, Chile, or other countries. Such salmon is shipped over great distances and can be out of the water for weeks before making it to fish counters.
Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Pelican’s Cut for your seafood needs. We strive to provide the freshest, highest-quality fish to our customers. Please review our refund policy below:
- Order Placement and Pickup: Customers are required to pay for their orders at the time of purchase. Orders are to be picked up at Burlington Beer Company between 4pm and 7pm at the designated date specified during checkout.
- Non-Pickup Policy: If a customer fails to pick up their order at the designated time and location, Pelican’s Cut does not offer refunds. Instead, the unclaimed fish will be donated to a local food pantry to minimize waste and support our community.
- Communication: If you anticipate not being able to pick up your order at the scheduled time, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to work with you to find a suitable solution.
- Order Fulfillment: In the rare event that we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason on our end, we will offer a full refund to the customer.
- Refund Process: Refunds for eligible cases will be processed within 5-7 business days using the original method of payment.
Pelican’s Cut reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice.
